The Aqara Gas Detector has a 85 dB alarm that’s built-in. This is loud enough to alert home occupants that a gas leak is detected, and action should be taken.
With multiple gas detectors, and if connected to Aqara Hubs, these alerts can be received by ancillary devices and sent throughout the home.
- An Aqara Smart Hub is required for smart home integrations.
- This product requires plug-in power and is essentially a wired solution.
- Gas sensor only works for methane (CH4), which is the main component of CNG and piped gas (town gas). This detector does NOT detect Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), which is commonly used for homes without piped gas in Singapore.
